Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG Roadster

A Newly developed multi-clutch transmission based on the seven-speed automatics used in previous AMG models. Its AMG-built 6.3-liter V-8 powerplant should produce in excess of 500 horsepower and will most likely be mated to Mercedes 7-speed automatic transmission featuring AMG Speedshift steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

The SL63 comes with a distinctive AMG front hood that s noticeably different from other SL models, as well as a new front apron with a more pronounced wedge shape, larger cooling air intakes, and a black grille. Bi-xenon headlights with black surrounds and large round fog lights ringed in chrome and set well to the side emphasize the vehicle s width.
